71-year-old Georgian citizen detained at «Bavra» BCP

On Monday, January 22 at 9.43 am, Georgian citizen Vahakn V., DOB 1947, was detained at “Bavra” border crossing point following operational intelligence measures taken by officers from Ashotsk division of Police of the Republic of Armenia. The detainee had been wanted by Malatia police division charged under the RA Criminal Code, article 325, part 1 (Forgery, sale or use of forged documents, stamps, seals, letterheads, vehicle license plates.) and article 329, part 1 (Illegal state border crossing) since December 29, 2017.
