On the day of voting in the early elections to the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, from 8 am of 09.12.2018 until 12 pm of the next day, 10.12.2018, the RA Police received 296 reports (81 in Yerevan, 215 in marzes), of which 134 were about crimes, and 162 were just pieces of information which did not contain signs of crime, but were subject to verification.
23 out of those 134 reports about crimes were submitted to the territorial divisions of the Military Police of the RA Ministry of Defense, 2 to the Prosecutor’s office for a decision on their further progress, 9 to the divisions of the RA Investigative Committee, and materials are being prepared on the remaining 100 cases in the police divisions. 1 out of 162 piecs of information subject to verification has been left without consequences due to groundlessness, 3 of them were sent to the Prosecutor’s Office, and 158 are still being checked.
